NO 5.0 V SIGNAL-NO START Sign In

MY THREAD WAS LOCKED. A SHAME FOR THIS FORUM. PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED.

THIS IS A FOLLOW UP TO MY LAST REPLY TO DISCRETESIGNALS. BTW DISCRETESIGNALS...THANX AGAIN FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE & PATIENCE WITH ALL THE ADVICE.

I FURTHER SEARCHED UTUBE & FOUND THIS VIDEO: 1996 Jeep No Start Case Study Part & DECIDED TO DO FURTHER TESTING FOR 5.0V SIGNAL.

WITH KEY ON...I AGAIN TESTED THE (UNPLUGGED) CRANK SENSOR CONNECTOR FOR VOLTAGE. THE CONNECTOR (WITH KEY ON) SHOWED 5.00V-GRAY WIRE/BK ST. I TESTED THE TPS (UNPLUGGED) ORG/BK ST WIRE WITH 4.92V. I CHECKED THE CAM SENSOR CONNECTOR (UNPLUGGED) & GOT 5.00V-TAN WIRE.

I CAN SEE THAT THESE 3 SENSORS ARE GETTING 5.0/4.92V "SIGNALS".

CAN I RIGHTFULLY CONCLUDE THAT THE CRANK SENSOR-WITH A 5.00V SIGNAL-IS BAD & CAUSING THE "NO START" ISSUE HERE?

THANX TO ANYONE WHO WISHES TO ASSIST ME HERE.

We really don't want you to start all over here. Having 2 threads on the same problem is worse. I would PM DS and if he wants to continue with you, he can unlock the thread to do so.

I wasn't the one that closed it but any Mod can reopen it.
