My jeep will not start! 2007 Jeep Liberty, V6, 62,000. My battery died 2 weeks ago, took it in to be charged and jeep started. Today :( It did not start again, bought new battery, put it in...jeep started then died, two more times it did this, now it will not even turn over. all lights work, no sound when trying to start. I am new to Arizona from Nebraska and worried about looking for a new mechanic with out at least having an idea of what my problem is.

Need to get that battery charged and tested. Often, they do not have a good charge straight off the shelf, especially if theyve been sitting there a while without being maintained. ____________________________________________________ Willing to help, willing to learn... Rob

Have you taken the connections off and cleaned them nice and shiny? If the connection isn't good it won't matter how good your battery is. A top post terminal cleaner is only a couple bucks at any parts store. When you move to a new area and don't know who is good to take your car to, a site like angie'slist might be a good idea to try out. Its sorted by area and you can see reviews about shops, plumbers, carpenters, pretty much everything in service industry.
