Lumpy running after auto/car wash Sign In

Year of vehicle 2000
Make of vehicle Honda
Model of vehicle Accord SE 1.8i
Engine size 1.8
Mileage 85000
I took it for a hand/manual body car wash, ie, to wash the outside.
Until then it was running perfectly ok.
Now the engine is running very lumpy, and lacking power.
It doesn’t change, or misfire, it’s just lumpy as I drive up the road.
They used high pressure hoses, but didn’t open the bonnet/hood or anything.
My thought is to see what it’s like in the morning, if it needed to dry out, say.
I’ve never had problems with the engine not running properly before.
Any ideas please?

I should add this.
I’d left the engine running whilst in the car wash.
When I drove away from there it was ok.
I drove to a used car dealer to look at a car I was interested in.
After he looked around my car, he opened the hood/bonnet.
Could he have done something to it quickly while I wasn’t looking?
When I started it, it was not running properly.

They may not have opened the bonnet but they probably hit the engine through the wheel well. Electrical systems don't like water.
