ETC engine failsafe mode light came on today, I could not go more than 20 miles. I stopped and turn the car off and the light went off and came back on. I just had my fuel injections replaced and 4 spark plugs replaced .please help I am spending money out every month.

Tossing parts without proper diagnosis will run you broke with this car more than some others.
What's with just FOUR spark plugs? Smallest engine should be a SIX.
This car is a mix of Jaguar and Ford TMK and better off for the joint venture in it.
Take this car and get a real full stream code reading for direction on what's wrong. The freebe readings from many parts outlets probably won't be good enough.
Long retired but deal with a 2001(?) now and then. Nice car for what they are intended to be and are naturally going to be pricey.
Hey - It's a known performance, handling car. If the costs are a factor it's simply the wrong car for you! Diagnosis is everything. You can toss parts till the cows come home so find the right diagnostic tech person or place and fix it once is my suggestion,

PS: I like Lincolns and own three - none are the LS but rather the non performace Town Cars.
