06'Lincoln LS 3.9L V8 77k

I'm a moron, let's preface the post with that.

I tried to change my own plugs on this car, and had a little tantrum and ripped the ignition coil cover plate off of the last bolt next to the firewall on both sides. I damaged both covers beyond repair, and am looking for a solution without having to buy new coil covers. Is anyone familiar with bolted brackets that could work. As of now, the plug boots are popping out of the plug ports, and causing it to miss and drag.

It's pretty obvious by this post, that I need to stay the hell away from this car, unless I'm climbing in the driver's seat.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated...

Look something like #2 in the picture? Not sure, but I think your going to have to find them at the salvage yard or get them from the dealer. They not only contain the coils themselves, but also seal the cavity where the coils reside from water and dirt.

That would be them. I've check LKQ and virtually every other salvage broker in the state. Not one yard has them. I'm trying to avoid dealer price, but that may be the only option. The salesman told me they probably would not even check, if I was to bring it in for trade, so a quik fix would work in this case. As long as it held the boots in place.

You can probably get them from the dealer.

The part number is: XW4Z12025AD

They cost around $25 dollars each.

Thanks for that. That's what I will do.
