1994 Nissan Altima 2.4 230000 Km

Hi, I've changed the head gasket and followed the instructions in the Haynes manual.
When trying to install the upper chain and cam sprocket, I've discovered that the painted timing dot that was supposed to be on the idler sprocket, was in fact on the washer. Now I don't have a painting mark there because the washer moves freely on sprocket.
The engine is at TDC on piston 1.
The lower chain was not moved, the idler sprocket is in the same position (it stays attached on the lower chain in the same position when you take the head cylinder off).
There are 3 dots painted on the upper chain, and one dot on each of the cam sprocket.
I don't have the dot on the idler sprocket.
How do I put the chain and how do I align the camshafts?

Correction:"The lower chain was not moved"
Actually it was like this: Trying to remove the sprocket from the intake camshaft, I moved the camshaft over the valve.
I knew I lost TDC so later on i checked the crankshaft and saw it moved from TDC red notch, to the last white notch. I moved back the crankshaft, and I can't remember was it before removing the camshafts or after.
Does anything bad happened to the engine? Is the crankshaft at TDC?

This looks into great detail on Altima engines.

Now the piston1 is TDC, because I put it there and saw it up in the bore with the head removed.

I didn't take off the front cover and I can't see if the lower chain have moved on the cranckshaft sprocket.
Because there are no marks on the idler sprocket in fact this doesn't matter.

I have found on internet an article about the ka24de engine.
There I have found that with the engine at TDC, the pin of the exhaust cam must be at 12 o'clock, therefore the dowel in the sprocket must be set at 12 o'clock. I have the marks on the upper chain and cam sprockets, so I can put both the cam sprockets in a good position relative to each other.
Actually, this way, I can put the marks on the idler sprocket.
Do you think is going to work?

Very poor design, from the maintenace point of view!
They put an operator with a brush to paint the timing marks on gear...
To work on oil pump ( and many other parts) you have to change the head gasket...
To change the pcv valve you have to take out the engine...
