Hi everyone,

I'm a new poster. Smile

I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy 4.3 CPI and it wont start.Frown

Now I've checked pretty much all of the forums out there and don't know what to do.

I have replaced everything but the kitchen sink. Injector spider, fuel pump (60 lbs.), fuel filter, coil, igniter in distributor, computer and anything else I could think of. Checked the fuel volume (pint@15 sec.), compression on all cyl. low on 1 cyl. TPS ( voltage is good throughout throttle travel 2.2v-4.8v 5v reference).

It will start for a second, then it dies.

I heard that the oil pressure switch can shut off the fuel pump if it senses low oil pressure. True? If op sw faulty?

It ran fine last week.

Thanks for your help

Yes - I think the oil pressure sender switch can disable fuel pump. It likely gives you a short grace period for start up - also check the connector.....
