Honda Pilot Sign In

2006 Honda Pilot : engine light was on, was trying to line up appt with a mechanic, then temperature guage went hot while driving- for about half a mile. Parked the car and haven't moved it since. Noticed there is water leaking in the oil. Could there be any other cause for that besides gasket damage? and what's a good estimate to repair something like that?

Re: Honda Pilot Sign In

I wouldn't even run it again and there's no real knowing extent of repair costs till it is fully checked out. Even if just once the overheat could have cracked head or parts that can't be reused for the fix and does sound like a head gasket job. Don't leave it with "water" in oil or run it like that as said,
