Engine is 3.5i vtec. Engine started to make a knock in the upper engine in the "v" area. Sounds like it may be cam or piston/lifter related. The knock fluctuates with the engine rev. I had a shop look at the problem and they performed an oil flush. Knock is not as loud but now is constant. Has anyone heard of this type of problem? Help! You can usually tell by the speed of the knock. Valve train knocks are about twice the speed of a lower end knock. It seems early (52,000 miles) for the engine to be having cam, lifter, piston...type of problems. Was curious to see if this is unusual or have others seen this kind of engine issue with Odesseys.
