Hiace injector problem

I have a 02 Toyota Hi ace Van with a 24D 2494cc Diesel (2KD-FTV) Engine
There is a tapping sound from the front end of the engine (much like a sowing machine) and when you feel the electrical connector on the front injector it is vibrating.
This happens all the time on Idle and driving except while I throttle back
The engine starts fine on the button
Occasionally the engine will loose power when driving and the tapping goes away when the power comes back on the tapping reappears
My guess is it’s a problem with the solenoid valve within the injector does any one agree or can suggest another reason. What would be the best solution to the problem?
If the injector is replaced can I use a second hand one or must it be new
I m looking also for a repair manual for this engine does anyone have one or can suggest where I can obtain one
Also the best diagnostic software for this make and model
