Ive put alot of money in tryin to fix thhis disaster. Bought a new battery thinking thats why it wouldnt start,500$ on a tuneup and diagnostic they said i needed new plugs so they did that. I was able to drive it for a couple days but only after a number of cranks. Now i crank and i crank and it wont start or if it does it will shake violently and then die. When i get out of the car i can smell a strong scent of gaoline. When i was able to drive it the car would still shake violently mostly when i was driving uphill.
I have no clue please help im sick of gettin takin in by mechanics. I took it to Midas and they said they thought fuel wasnt getting to one side of the car but werent sure why and couldnt fix it,the other place did a diagnostic and didnt find anything and said i just needed a tuneup to get a better spark.

If the car turns over and doesn't start the basics need to be checked. Hook up a fuel pressure guage, install a spark tester, and a fuel injector test light. Crank the engine and see what these systems are doing. On your next post, tell us which engine is in the vehicle.
