Hello,
I have a 1989 GM blazer 4.3 that's very hard to start, it cranks many times before it starts (if it Starts) many times killing the battery! Sometimes I need to use starting fluid.
When it does start it runs ok. Tuned it up with new plugs, wires ,cap, fuel pump etc.
Almost like it's not getting fuel...Has TBI

Test the fuel pressure.
