Crazy I am going nuts here. I have a 97 Ford Taurus 3.0 U engine code that was a light burn victim. I resuscitated her and she lives very well,,,,, EXCEPT,,,,,,, I was told that the engine syncronizer could be "just" dropped in and ran. I have read many a Ford Thesis' about the problems that mine has, Misses above 3000 RPM's and now I cannot find any How to articles on how to install this thing correctly! ANYONE know of such a link??? I could really use a hand here!! PLEASE HELP ME! OR JUST TELL ME HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY SlySlySlySlySlySly OH YA I would also like to know what that chrome disc is that is in the MAIN fuel line, about 8 inches before the line plugs into the fuel rail???? what is its propose?? what does it do???

OH NO, you definitely can't just drop that in anywhere. The timing has to be perfect on it. They make a tool that takes the place of the cam sensor to lock it in the correct position.
If you were smart enough to carefully mark it before removing it, you won't need the tool. Otherwise your screwed.
