HELP!
I am a complete idiot with
"old" eyes. I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX, Manual tx, vtec about 130K miles.
I asked the guy at the car shop for an oil additive for my car. Mechanic told me it would help with the persistent oil leak/engine burining it off problem I have had for years. (I bought the car used.) The guy gave me STP Octane Boost. He said "just add it to your oil when you add some to your car". Well, I took it home and put in about 2-3 tablespoons when I stopped because it just didn't seem like "oil". I read the back and of course it is supposed to go into your FUEL tank NOT your OIL. So now what do I do? Can I safely drive the car the 10 miles to the shop for an oil change tomorrow or should I attempt to figure out how to drain the oil myself and refill it. I have oil but no filters, etc for an oil change. I never ran the car after I made the mistake. Is there any damage done?
PLEASE HELP!

The first lesson you want to learn here is that there is no such thing as "Mechanic in a Can" so don't expect some liquid in a can to fix a mechanical problem, no matter what outrageous claims they may make just to sell more product.
If this bottle was just a pint or less, then you should be able to get to the shop to change the oil. Just don't put it off beyond that.
