Fuel bog problem 98 escort zx2 2.0 Sign In

1998 ford escort zx2 2.0 DOHC m/t 196,000 miles running strong (well it was ) lol

i can start my car and keep it running and drive it sort of. when i go to give some pedal to take off it bogs down and wants to die.But i can feather the gas to get my speed what i want. but to just take off like to pass or give some power it bogs... i have checked and replaced fuel filter. (no change)in problem. So i hooked up my fuel pressure gauge to my fuel rail port and im not getting enough pressure to make the pressure even budge on the gauge. For giggles and grins i went to junk yard and changed out my fuel pump cause being disiabled and on ssdi i dont have the funds to buy a new fuel pump.Well No change doing that..Still no pressure. I even changed out my pressure sensor and no change either(which is the same as a pressure regulator on my car ,from what ive been told from dealer).. im stuck at what to try or do next..any help will be thankful...But like i said before i can drive it as long as i dont give it alot of throttle at once.i can work the RPM'S up to high throttle but only if i slowly do it, it just bogs down when you give it some gusto to take off like normal. ???????

No, we don't throw parts at the problem until we find it. We diagnose the problem properly which in this case will require a professional scan tool. This is a variable pressure, module controlled circuit.
