Went to start transit and immobiliser light flashing wouldn't start so in code book code was 11 which ment loose wireing near multi plug connector and ignition coil. Was fiddling today and I got it to start twice fine until I turned it off then I went to start it up againe same thing immobiliser light stopped me. So I thought it must be something loose after 4 hours !!!! And still can't get it to start like u did all the fuses are fine?? Everything in fine so I am guessing it must be the ignition coil that thing that goes around the key do these degrade over time ? 60 on eBay brand new. Thanks

No, there is no such meaning for any code. The code gives you specific data that the technician has to find the cause of. It will never tell you that anything is loose or bad. that is for the tech to determine.

I don't think it meant ignition coil. It probably meant the transceiver module isn't connected. If it is anything like the PATS on the American Fords, the transceiver is the antenna around the ignition lock cylinder barrel. For some reason the PCM isn't able to communicate with it causing the starter to be disabled. Inspect the transceiver and be sure it isn't damaged and that it is positioned correctly around the ignition barrel. If the wiring and the transceiver look good, it probably has a bad transceiver.

My tidbit on these: All of a sudden tons of Ford Transits ?? Small vans are around and been in one for a second and about it. Huge inside for work vans for the size of them with high popped up roof. Heard of 18 seater versions - from India - huh? Was told the US model was made in Turkey.

I suppose some serious searching out there would tell but apparently this if a body design by Ford or a Ford concern seems to be made to be altered into about anything. Just from this site seeing tons more diesels from Europe and if same basic thing is sold all over no telling what engine designs, emissions are used for certain destinations.

Not sure if there's any real standard for this vehicle but seems if sold to UK would have strong similar codes to US vehicles and not certain of that either.

(on edit) Confuse things more. At least at some point all vehicles sold to France had to have amber headlights - NBD. Other places didn't allow red rear turn signals so even US models we know of of things made different tail lighting. I've seen those and worked on oneCrazy
