My 2007 Ford Fusion was in a water flood and half of the engine was submerged for about 10 hours. The car has dried out and will start but when the gas petal is pressed down it stays idling. I do not know the size of the motor but it is a v6 all wheel drive and has 64 thousand miles if that helps. During the flood the lights came on and then I disconnected the battery cable.
