Exhust Problem Sign In

How can I find out if I have a block in my exhust system? I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand AM
Quad 4.

You can do a vacuum test of intake vacuum which should be the same at idle and 2000 RPM. A blockage will lower the high RPM reading but still doesn't tell you where. Cat converters are the most likely and you can loosen most and if the system (noisy now) doesn't show the restriction it's from there back. Muffler, bent pipe are possible,
