Erratic idle on startup 95 Civic

Erratic idle on startup 95 Civic Sign In
    I have 95 Civic EX MT with 160000 miles. Occassionally when first started it will jump between about 750rpm to about 2000rpm. It will rev up to 2000 then drop down to 750 and and do it again. This lasts for about 5 minutes, I guess until the car gets warm enough. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?
