Engine start up issue

I have a 99 pontiac grand am gt with a 3.4liter v6 and 135 k. Just put engine back together after replacing head gaskets. The engine starts after acouple tries and then the rpms max as if throttle is wide open. Sounds smooth and revs once or twice then the engine cuts out. I have checked vaccum lines, iac valve, fuel filter, spark plugs, and i am running out of ideas. Can anyone help?

You have a major air leak somewhere. You probably messed up the manifold gasket somewhere.
