Engine shuts down

1998 Chevy 3500,6.5 diesel,automatic trans,4WD,1ton dump truck. Problem:Driving or stopped the engine shuts down.I wait a while and the engine will start again.I replaced the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank,new fuel pump,new fuel filter,new fuel relay in the fuse box,added Seafoam additive to the fuel tank.I would appreciate any help you can give.Lance

get codes yes even if the CEL is off.
is vehicle STOCK - no chips or remote starter?
This was @ the time of a known ign switch issue- not the same as the problem often mentioned on the news- but a problem with burnt contacts causing open circuits at the switch.
