1998 buick skylark 3.1..Engine feels like a dead miss. Not a Slite miss.Only does it when the A/C is on and under a load. I started out with basic tune up. Plugs, wires, And after I replaced the plugs again thinking I might have broken one. checked all over for vacume leaks. Found none. I put on a modual and Coil packs off of an other car and they omh. out the same.Today I took off the fuel rail and chaged the two injector that red the lowest reading. I cant figure this thing out.

You must have a check engine light on. What codes is it storing? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

What was the exact code number. Did you try apply vacuum to it to see what range it has? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

With the key on, a digital voltmeter attached to the signal return wire and the MAP sensor plugged in, slowly apply vacuum to it. You should see a slow steady climb to or decrease from about .5v on up to about 4.5v with no glitches in between.
