Help! I just had a used engine placed in my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L engine. I ran terrible missing, chugging and backfiring. They found a lose wire but that did not fix the problem. It still still runs terrible especially going up hill with the overdrive lockout button engaged. Also the windshield washer fluid in very hot and I mean hot.
Please help me
Jenny

Re: Engine missing Sign In

Who replaced the engine? We can't know what may have happened or gone wrong with that job. Was the engine a known good engine and the exact one for this vehicle? Important to know that,

If you paid someone to have this work done then expect and required them to make it run properly.

Re: Engine missing Sign In

For your car problems you can consult with your mechanic. the problems in engine may be due to wring handling of vehicle or engine may be in poor condition.
