It would not restart that night. Now it tries to start acts like timing is off. Got plenty of gas, got spark, oil looks good. The car usually goes through water. Do you mean it usually consumes coolant? That needs to be addressed at once. Q. Where did it go? If no leaks are found head gaskets are highly suspect and continuing to overheat then opens a whole book of possible problems now and you still have the leak. I would start with finding that leak with a pressure test of cooling system, then a fuel pressure test.
