The engine light is on in my 1997 Lincoln Town Car. I have had it to three mechnaics and have been told three different stories. One said not to worry as I had fixed the problem a few months ago and this happens a lot of times after. The car is running just fine. Another said he wouldn't know until he had a look at it and if it needed fixing it would run some where in the neighbor of 600. The third one said it would cost me around 350.
Please any thoughts on this. I am in another state other than mine for a few months.
This old granma is about to have a fit.

Take it to auto zone and get the codes read, and post them so we can help you out
we need the codes, the codes come as example , P0304 P0300 P1377 .
