Unimpressed I have a 2005 Pontiac vibe 53xxx miles and am having some problems with the car. My check engine light came on 3 weeks ago and took it to the shop to have the code read to figure out what was going on and they got "failure to communicat error" so I went to another shop. They got the same thing. About 4 day ago my wife was driving the car, while sitting at a light the car dies and could not get it started again. Could I be having a problem with the computer in the car? What else could it be.Unimpressed

First thing to do is to properly check all the fuses. Use a test light or voltmeter to check both sides of all fuses to be sure there is current passing through them. Some of the systems need the key to be in the on position.

Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
