Cylinder compression Sign In

1998 Ford Taurus
198000
3.0/6 cylinder

What does it mean if you have a cylinder with low compression? Do cylinders have certain compressions levels? If you have a cylinder with low compression what does that do to the engine? What is a cylinder leak down test?

You can help him if you want Jeff. I'm finished with this car. Enough is enough.
