Hi everyone! Well, I just got my mechanic, to check all the vacuum hoses in my engine and sure enough, there were two damaged (cracked) hoses. He had mentioned the day before that it may be this, the day before I fond this website and posted my question. I wasn't certain he was correct after the other guy kept saying it must be an injector. After hearing Hammertime's response, I went back to this guy, and sure enough, he spotted and showed me, the damaged hoses. He repaired them for free, and off I went to return my purchase at NAPA auto parts of $250.00 for the injectors I never needed after all. He checked my fuel pressure and it was at 54, (should be at 58), but I guess that was close enough! I can't seem to figure out how to e-mail to you directly, Hammertime, so I hope you get this message. You were right on target. After all this work, I sure hope my car runs another round of a 100!

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Thanks for posting the follow up.
That fuel pressure is a little low so if you have any cold starting problems or high speed issues, you may have to revisit that.

Thank you. I think when he ran that fuel pressure test, it may have read a little low, because I didn't start it and stop it immediatley, and some gas speud out a little on him, so he disconnected the tester quickly. I will indeed make sure to keep an eye on things. Is there a simpler way to change the pressure on it? (kinda like guitar strings? The only thing I can think to compare to). This is the time when it can be a downfall to be a woman.....LOL!

There is no way to adjust fuel pressure. It varies about 10 PSI with vacuum input to the regulator. Low pressure usually means a weak pump.
The running spec on this one is 55 to 60 but it can go as high as 66 at wide open throttle or engine not running.
