This is Mitchell On Demand. I have been using Mitchell for over 15 years now in the shop and found it to be one of the best, in my opinion. Good luck on replacing the injector. It isn't all that bad to do, just take your time. Make sure you pick up new o-rings for the fuel lines before you start. And one more tip, when you go to put the upper intake manifold back on, spray the rubber gasket around the fuel metering body with silicone spray, then the intake will slide down over it and seat with ease. Which I guess doesn’t matter for the point I’m trying to make and that is. If you’re replacing the unit because the poppet nozzles are plugged or sticking, check with the dealer. There’s an updated unit that does away with the central injector and the nozzles; changing the system into a true multi-port injection system, as in one injector per cylinder. No modification are needed it just plugs in the same as the old unit. I’ve converted a few now and the improvement in overall running is quite noticeable. Just a thought, while you’re in there.
