96 Ford Explorer , 4.0 V6 ..292,000mi. Missing really bad. I thought at first is was water in the fuel, added dry gas and filled tank, that changed nothing. I had it put on the code reader at Auto Zone and it said it was miss-firing on 3 , 4 & 5 .... ck'd plugs & all seemed to be fine. ......... Could this be the coil pack ? .. Code reader also indicated a prob. with EGR flow ? I'm a decent Mech on the older ( pre computer ) stuff , but this newer stuff has got me frustrated !! Need help !
