AIC replaced but now hestates on the gas

I just replaced the AIC valve and now my ford thunderbird is hesitating from a dead stop. Whats the deal? Fuel filter, pump, something help! Before I relacced the valve I did have problems with the car not starting a few times as well. The battery has been replaced and the not starting problem happed after the replacement Im hoping the next repair wont be so expensive but at this point I'm just wanted my car to run smoothly and to work when I want it to work.

Odds are good That you are experiencing something known as a ECM reset or relearn . Whenever you cars batt power is interrupted the computer loses its adaptive memory.Sora like your home computer losing your favorites in a crash. The cure?Drive the car approx 20-50 miles. Vary things as much as possible , stop /go, slow /fast, braking, accelerating firmly ,turns l/r. In other words let car do what it normally does in a day of driving .IN rare cases it may take a day or two. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH

If what ur suggesting is just the ECM having to reset or relearn, should I take it in n get it reset? As my username says I deliver newspapers so driving 20-50miles with my car hesitating would be a headache not to mention stressful. I do a whole lot of stop n go, fast n slow, right n left turns. Would it be safer to have a shop rest the ECM?
