99 dodge stratus hesistates between45-55mph

I have a 1999 dodge stratus 2.4l engine 171000 miles i've replaced plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter,pcv air filter, belts including timing . the car feels like its hesitating or surging going between 45-55 mph not sure what the problem is can some one give me an idea thank you

kingzues; At that speed, that is about when the TCC (torque convertor lockup) is engaged. Any check engine light? You may want to have a trans. shop take a look? We've got a guy that's very good with transmissions, here. Hopefully, he'll see your post. IMHO, I'd stay away from the 'chain' transmission shops. Check with friends, relatives, enemies, BBB, ect. to find one that can be trusted for a diagnosis. Loren SW Washington
