99 Ford taurus

i have a 1999 ford taurus station wagon dual overhead cam, and every time i drive the car it wants to stall and it shuts off, then when i turn the car on it idles high and the rpm stay above the normal idleling, i did a diagnostic on it and it gave me p0104 but i am not under standing what that means is it the idle air control valve, or ? and the other two codes i got was p0171 and p0174 could you help me thanks.

P0104 doesn't show up in my data base, but P0171 and P0174 are both lean codes. It is very common for a contaminated Mass Air Flow sensor to cause this. Look for a vacuum leak at the connection on the plenum, remove and clean the MAF sensor. An injection cleaning would probably help.
