What is your fuel pressure? Do you have access to a scan tool that shows live data? Just started doing this out of nowhere? Or was anything done to vehicle just prior?

you say no codes- do you have a scanner? Don't ASSUME no light no codes...

taking a swag- do a fuel pressure test AND observe pressure leak down wheen eng off....
EASY SIMPLE - see if there is evidence of FUEL in eng oil

PS how do you know cat is clear? not restricted..

Also wanted to add, did this problem start after or before you did the intake gaskets?

DS - No, doesnt bother me, Id rather be seconded by someone with more experience. Just had flashbacks to the first one I did. Was the first manifold gasket Id ever done. Didnt clean out the holes in the head for the locating pins on gasket, and didnt clean LIM bolt holes in head good enough. Nothing seated well, ran poorly, wouldnt get over 1500 rpm, and oil level magically kept rising. Also have seen throttle body sprayed down with cleaner while apart and cruds up the MAF. But as you said, need to know when symptoms appeared.

I had a 92 Buick that did the same thing, turned out to be a bad fuel pressure regulator.
