hi I have an Aussie 98 K2500 turbo 6.5 diesel that starts after glow but then cuts out straight away then it"s a hard start kicking the motor over for 10 sec or so then it slowly fires into action then it is fine for the rest of the day ..seems to be only after being left off for 4 to 6 hours
FYI i have replaced the injector pump controller four months ago as that would just cut out but then restart with no problems.
Can anyone help as there is only about 10 of these here in Perth, Western Australia and no one knows what to do here

Aloha
When you replace the controller you have to replace the glow plugs--you will find a few that will not come out --walah-- there is a bad one --keep turning (lefty loose righty thighty ) with the aid of a small screwdriver to help thread it out--the small pieces that break off will go from the pre chamber and suck into the combustion chamber and become part of the top of the piston -- in my travels this will not affect the motor.
