Ok went to Oreillys and Advanced Auto n both came up with an ERG valve problem. I had it replaced along with 4 oxagen sensors and I been having this problem ever since. Only when I run my AC will my car do only 5 mph while reaching the highest rpms as I continue to give it gas. Then a chunk of gas is removed. My car is eating gas constantly. The man at the auto parts store told me that I have a 05 engine but my car is a 98. He had me purchase the yr according to my engine. I am not sure if it is an electrical problem as the man said cuz the yr difference or if it may be something like my transmission or carborator going. Someone else said it may be my timing or my regulator. I dont know much so please help. Thank you

An EGR problem isn't going to give you symptoms like that.
If you don't have the right engine in it, you likely don't have the right operating system either and that means you may never solve the problem. You need a highly qualified driveabilty tech to look at it.

EDIT:

I have deleted all your duplicate questions and moved this one to the engine troubleshooting category. Do not open any more duplicates.

Even if the transmission was stuck in first gear, you would be able to do more than 5 mph. The transmission is probably slipping. Might want to swing into a tranny shop and have them check it out.
