97 silverado won't idle or run

I have a 97 silverado,5.7,automatic, 4x4, my nephew was driving it when it died, got it started(had to give it gas) ran really rough would idle slightly and die, noticed intake was leaking put it on the computer said everything was running fine, 02 readings stayed around 800,after warming up to operating temp 02 readings bounced from 200 to 800 seamed to work fine, 53-58 lbs. of pressure at fuel rail, changed intake gaskets and fuel pressure regulator inside plenum, now it idles 20 sec dies repetitivley won't stay running at all, I have no idea at all anymore, please help, would be appreciated,

I would like to see a vacuum reading @ idle & high rpms. Are you getting any codes. Since you did the intake does it run worse? If so are you getting a P1493? When you did the intake, what new parts did you install?

For the short time the car idles try spraying a little gum cutter around the intake. If the idle smooths out for a second you not only know that you have a vacuum leak but you also know the general area of the leak. Kind of surprised that you don't have any codes though.

installed intake gaskets and fuel pressure regulator, will not idle for more than 15-20 seconds, can not give it any throttle dies imediately

sprayed gumout around intake and throttle body has no effect

I believe fuel pressure should be 60-66 psi KOEO and the "R" 5.7 won't run well below that or at all,

Got it figured out, did not know it would not run without the air cleaner(mass air flow sensor) put that on, retimed it, and it runs fine, every now and then it has a slight hesitation not sure and engine light has been on now since will be hooking up to a scanner this week, thanks for everyones help
