You know, that one in the back of the engine that runs the water pump that everyone forgets about checking......... They have a remote reservoir so chemical testing isn't always accurate, meaning it might pass an engine with a blown head gasket. But there are other things that could cause this problem. A restricted radiator. The impellers on the water pump worn down, a restriction in the block.... Did this problem start out of blue or were there some signs leading up to this????.....running a bit warmer?? Any coolant lose??? I realize you did look at the water pump belt but probably would've felt better if you said BOTH belts were good...
