May have been some hesitation first but not much if any. Now I cn't get it to start back up. I can hear the fuel pump come on when I first turn the key. I used a bit of starter fluid on breather and engin backfired. I checked for a spark and yes I can see one. Used the screwdriver in the plug cap beside a ground test. Now what? These are high pressure systems and they are very pressure sensitive. I did check the fuel pressure and it was 58psi so I started back on the firing. I had done the check with the screwdriver in the plug cap against the block and had seen some fire. Groping along I started taking things apart. Spark plugs looked warn but not bad enough to cause my engine to stop while running. Took distrabutor cap off and found the problem. The rotor button had actually broken off. Lodged in there shorting the mess out. I was still seeing fire at the screwdriver test but it wasn't enough or at the right time it seems. Replaced rotory cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs.
