Thanks for the timely reponse. I need to reword my post. The engine is hot. The problem is the heater just throws luke warm air and the temp guage reads 130 degrees. The radiator and recovery jug are full. I've replaced the thermal sensor and the thermostat. The water pump is only about 6 months old. The outside temp. is around 40 deg. The longest I've driven is about 40 min. This started about 3 weeks ago. Prior to that everything was fine.

OK I just realized this is the wrong forum - sorry. Anyway, I backflushed the heater core and both hoses (nothing came out) but the heater works fine. Temp guage still reads 130 degrees. Wont be the first time I replaced a bad part with a new bad part. I'll get another one this week end.

It isn't the first time I've ever put in a bad new part, really causes a diagnosis problem and a "bad Hair" day but we get thru it. Thanks for posting your findings, it helps many who may read this for future troubles,
