I'm looking for ideas and advice. I have a new to me GMC 2500 4x4 pick up with 350 v8 and an automatic. Just shy of 200,000 miles. company fleet vehicle that recieved decent service/maintenance. This was a CHEAP purchase to have around for aome hualing/towing needs and I need to figure this problem out without spending too much. Runs fine and starts like a champ, but the exhuast smells like fuel.....prety strong too. I've replaced the plugs~all were black and a coupple were wet with fuel. I haven't run it much since replacing the plugs and it does sound better. I've only had time to run it for about 5 minuites mostly at idle in the driveway, so I'm hoping the present smell may just be residual from within the exhuast system. If it dosen't clear up with a little run time, what else should I look at?

Get a code reading for starters. Injector leak down, O2 sensors not giving good info. Lot's of possiblities at the miles, T
