96 chevy 5.7 350 possible burnt valve.

Service enigine soon light on. Showed #6 plug miss fire, replaced plugs, wires, dist cap, and rotor. Still showed #6 miss fire. Enigine a little rough. Friend suggested holding dollar bill over tail pipe to see if it got sucked in. Tried and it did get sucked in on one stroke and then blown back out again. Will purchase compression test gauge and test compression.
