96 cavalier automatic 2.2 multiport OBDII 215k.had just recently replaced plugs wires and 2 coils and fuel pump(used) and car was running fine,no codes.about a week later went out to start car and idle went immediately to 3-4krpm.pushing on gas pedal had no effect!after 1 minute went down to 1-2krpm but was running sounding really weird.put car in gear and it goes but still runs rythmically weird.if left to idle will finally die out completely but will start right back up and go back to running weird like in rythmic pulses.also there is crack in exhaust pipe under motor and if left to idle it will start to smoke and smell wierd from under motor.does not smoke out rear of tailpipe at all.there are no fluid leaks.2 codes set are high idle detected po507 and po108 which is map/bar high input?just filled tank the previous day and car was running fine!cant find any vacuum leaks but brake booster has quit working!if i take hose off this does not effect engine (noticeably)and the suction from hose is weak and pulsating.curse gm for not putting a fuel pressure port on the engine!ditto for putting the coilpack behind motor!thanks
