i know zilch about cars really and so i bring my troubles to genmay in hopes someone has any idea what the problem could be (which will determine where i take it) My 96 camry's check engine light comes on and after a few moments i notice smoke coming out of the front right portion of my hood. I pop the hood and this thin hose that connects the engine coolant to the radiator has a bunch of coolant coming out of it (the end portion on top of the engine coolant reservoir, that resembles the end of a faucet). Eventually with the car turned on, the coolant stops leaking out of it. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be and even how much a fix from a mechanic would cost? thanks pics: http://img809.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=26627454.jpg problem pointed out in pictures: http://img180.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dedit.jpg

Thats your overflow hose, and the reason it is bubbling out coolant is your motor is getting hot. Check your radiator cap to ensure the spring in it isn't getting weak and overflowing early. Also, how hot is your motor getting. Most will boil over when overheating, and if this is the case the overheating must be corrected immediately before the engine is a boat anchor
