My car has had a slight coolant leak over the past couple of weeks, i kept close eye on it. I drove a 3 hour roundtrip the other day, and upon return, after sitting for a awhile i noticed that it looked like the entire contents of my transmission fluid had leaked out of the bottom of the car. Now after starting the engine, my key will not go back to the original starting position, and leaves the electronics on in the car, which would run the battery down if i didnt unhook the power. Any ideas?

You have multiple things going on here. If the trans. fluid is leaking from the front of the car check the radiator. The radiator has a built in trans. cooler and you will see two hoses going into the side. You may get lucky and fix both the coolant and trans. leaks with a new radiator. As for the ignition problem, you may need a new switch or tumbler. If the column is a two piece housing there will be screws on the bottom side of the plastic that you can remove and drop the lower half to access the ignition switch. If it is one piece, the steering wheel needs to be pulled and that is for a mechanic to do because of the air bag. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
