Have a 96 Crysler Sebring conv 2.5 122000 miles. Has a miss at idle when warms up, replaced the plugs, plug wires, and IAT sensor since was nasty and oily. Running at 138 degree an intake air temp. car running at 209 degrees when starts missing. Only at idle or below 1000 RPM. Can not pick up any thing on scanner, no freeze frame showing up, no misfires showing up, but do get a little more miss at loading engine around 2000 rpm. any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. charlie

run rough cold engine at idle?what are your iac motor counts at idle?what is your ltft and your stft?any vacuum leaks?Air intake restrictions?clean air filter?check vacuum connection fuel pressure regulator and take vacuum line of regulator and check for precense of fuel in line in case of ruptured fuel pressure regulator diaphram.Any exhaust leaks or excessive backpressure?check pcv valve or replace.Do you use more oil than normal?maybe more than normal blowby from bad piston rings.I would check and replace pcv valve.Pretty inexpensive.Could be build-up of carbon on valves in which would have to decarbonize the intake with special cleaner.....I use otc decarbonizer which I run through the air intake through a vacuum line.....you could try sea-foam available at local parts store.Does your scan tool have enhanced capabilities to look at any missfire history on any cylinders?Let me know. Also have you checked fuel pressure....any problems here would also show up under a load condition though.

Thanks for comeback, very good suggestions, rechecked everything and turned out that I had a weak coil breaking down after warmed up, couldnt believe this due to replaced whole distributor just 3 months ago. again thank you great comeback. charlie
