96 Camry no start after engine swap

96 Camry no start after engine swap Sign In

Hi, recently swapped engine in a 96 camry 2.2 4 cyl I'm not getting an injector pulse.When i first turn the key on to start the noid light will light up 1 time
thats all i can spray start fluid into intake and it will start and run it out.changed fuel filter getting good pressure,any ideas anyone I have never been

this stumped by a vehicle problem before so if yall could help it would be nice,ThanksMad

Did it work after the swap or is this it right now after the swap?

The engine overheated and I replaced it with a rebuilt one.

Seems like it's just gotta be something isn't hooked up properly or a connector isn't making good contact??

i have double checked everything twice to no avail,any ideas on sensors to check or what else????

I don't know where to look but bet there's a reset for the fuel delivery. When cars are in collisions the systems shut down so engine won't keep running. Some shut down fuel pump and some others may do other things for the objective of not letting the engine run.

I'm as lost as you are. Think I'd just try disconnecting the battery for a minute and see if that helps,
