95 nissan altima 4 cyl 4 door blue smoke @ idle

95 nissan altima 4 cyl 4 door blue smoke @ idle Sign In

i bought this car for cheap and it runs great!!! it has 169000 miles about and it responds great sounds great no knocks or anything !! but it smokes a little when i accelerate out of idle doesn't look horrible but looks blue im thinking its oil ? why is this happening is this something i should worry about?

That is typical worn valve guides and seals. You could replace the valve seals but if the guides are worn, it will only be a temporary fix.

so should i worry about it or will the car still last awhile? im trying not to spend money yakno ? lol again thanks for all the help

Well, it's not going to fix itself and it is an indication of severe internal wear but it will still be drivable as long as you don't have to pass an emissions test. The smoke will just progressively get worse over time.
