Disconnect the EGR valve & drive it......See if that makes any kind of difference...

we disconnected egr it ran worse engine light comes on vagely for about 2 to five miles and goes off it runs great when light is on it runs like Sh!t when light is off it goes back to surging no power rpms fall rapidly at times when not aelerating and it feels like its not getting any gas. until i let off gas pedal. for me to keep up speed i have to pump the gas pedal for it to keep going.
