95 Honda civic NEW HEads OR MOTOR Sign In

Unsure. Hi i have a very stubborn 95 Honda civic dx 5 speed 1.5. 47692 Miles .. I changed the battery timing belt water pump spark plugs and cables also The piece on the bottom of throttle body broke so I had to replaced that too.. Now I know I need to change the head gasket but here's the thing ... When I got this car I had to re-do the heads cuz a spark plug was stuck in there then the car worked fine now my motor is full of mixed water and oil And it keeps over heating :( What should I do junk the car, get a motor, re-do the heads pls help

With milky oil you have a high likelihood of damage to the bottom end. I haven't ever seen just doing the head last because of that. Your rod, main and cam bearings have had watered down oil run through them so they will be garbage. If the car is worth it to you and you can get a different motor at a price you can live with go for it. If not, junk the car. If you do put another motor in it, do yourself a favor by pulling off the radiator and getting the internals steam cleaned for any of the crap that was in your old engine.

Not much choice but to fix the head again or give up but the overheating whether first or because of the problem must be addressed or this will be a routine until not practical to repair again. If you don't send the head out you'll never know for sure if it's any good, repairable or not,
